Prepare To Be Consumed By Black Towers
Sun Serpent Records is proud to announce the official release of the "Consumed By White Fire" EP from Black Towers, the sludgy-doomcore outfit featuring Michael Thomas Morgan on guitar/vocals and Chris Beljan on drums. Recorded in 2011, an abridged version of the debut EP was originally available via bandcamp. In the four-and-a-half years since those recording sessions Mike's other commitments, both work and musical, have prohibited Black Towers from properly releasing or marketing the EP.
By 2016, following vocal contributions to Carrion Witch, we have finally convinced Mike to properly release the full 5-song version of the Black Towers EP. "I travel extensively for work," explains Mike, "so finding the time to commit to Black Towers these past few years has been very difficult. I was just joking with Chris about how we never played a farewell show, so perhaps now we can have a 'farewell/reunion' show to promote the EP release."
With a possible Black Towers reunion show, recording sessions for a long-awaited White Moth Throne EP, and a new Carrion Witch release on the horizon, it looks to be a busy year for Mike in 2016.
